Embark on a 2-day camping and whitewater rafting trip down the Klickitat River, just 2 hours from downtown Portland. Camp by the river, enjoy a delicious dinner and wake up to the sound of the river.
Meet your guide at the outpost in White Salmon. Park your vehicle and load your personal gear into the rig. Drive to the start of the river trip. After an orientation, raft the Upper Klickitat for 20 miles back to camp.
Set up camp riverside, including your private tent with cots and sleeping bags. Sit in a circle of chairs for evening activities with a focus on the kitchen. Enjoy a charcuterie board and cold drinks while the aroma from the grill fills the air.
Savor steaks and grilled seasonal veggies accompanied by an assortment of delicious side dishes. Wake up to the sound of the river and the smell of coffee and fresh air.
Savor bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns accompanied by oatmeal and fresh fruit. Get back onto the rafts for another 18 miles of beautiful river rafting. Take a bus ride back to the outpost and say goodbye.
