Kicker Rock Scuba Diving Sightseeing Tour Itinerary

One day before the tour – Delivery of scuba gear
To ensure a timely departure, you must come to our agency in San Cristobal one day before the activity to try on and receive your full scuba gear. The gear includes a full wetsuit, boots, fins, regulator, BCD, mask, snorkel, weights, and two scuba tanks.

7:50 AM – Meet at our agency
Meet our team at the Kingfisher office, where we'll check your gear and give you a brief explanation of the day's activities.

08:00 – Transfer to Muelle Acuario I and departure
We'll head to Muelle Acuario I to board the boat. There you will meet your certified dive guide, who will give a safety briefing before we set sail.

9:00 AM – Sailing to Kicker Rock
Enjoy the journey to Kicker Rock, one of the most iconic volcanic formations in the Galapagos. During the trip, you can admire the coastal landscape while the guide shares information about the dive site.

9:30 AM – First dive
You'll make the first dive, lasting approximately 45 minutes, in the famous channel between the two walls of Kicker Rock. Depending on the day's conditions, you'll be able to observe hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and a wide variety of tropical fish.

0:30 – Surface break
Rest on board while enjoying snacks and drinks. This time allows you to regain your energy before the next dive.

11:00 AM – Second dive
Explore a second snorkeling spot around Kicker Rock. Depending on the season and ocean conditions, you may find dolphins, sea lions, ocean sunfish (Mola mola), rays, and other species that inhabit this marine ecosystem.

12:15 PM – Lunch on board and snorkel session
After the dives, you will enjoy lunch served on board. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to snorkel at a nearby beach to continue exploring marine life from the surface.

1:00 PM – Visit to a beach in San Cristobal
Depending on sea conditions, you will visit Playa Manglesito, Puerto Grande, or Cerro Brujo, where you can walk along the beach, relax, and enjoy the scenery.

15:00 – Drop-off at the cruise port
We will conclude the experience with drop-off at the San Cristobal cruise port. The arrival time may vary slightly depending on ocean conditions.
