Your kayaking experience begins at Komani Lake, where you will meet the local team. After a short welcome, you’ll receive your kayak equipment and safety instructions. Kayaks are available in single, double, or triple, making the tour suitable for solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups.

Before departure, the staff will explain the route, paddling basics, and safety guidelines. No previous kayaking experience is required.

Once on the water, you will paddle through the calm, crystal-clear waters of Komani Lake, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, narrow canyons, and untouched mountain landscapes often compared to Norwegian fjords.

The pace is relaxed, allowing plenty of time to:
Enjoy the silence and natural beauty
Take photos of the lake and surrounding scenery
Stop briefly to rest or swim (mandatory to wear life vests, weather permitting)

The route is chosen based on weather conditions and group ability, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

As you continue kayaking, you’ll explore quieter sections of the lake, far from boat traffic, where nature feels truly remote. This is a perfect opportunity to disconnect, observe local wildlife, and experience one of Albania’s most scenic natural areas from a unique perspective.

After the kayaking session, you will return to the starting point at Komani Lake. You’ll have time to relax, change clothes, have lunch (for additional charge) and enjoy the surroundings before the experience ends.
