Begin your adventure with a drive from Kathmandu to Panauti, taking 1 to 1.5 hours. Start your hike from Panauti Town, following dirt paths, stone steps, terraced fields, and forest trails. The hike lasts around 3-5 hours, depending on your pace and stops, with a maximum elevation of approximately 1,750 meters (5,741 feet).
Visit the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, a large Tibetan Buddhist complex on top of a hill.
