What you can expect

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,503m)

Begin with a scenic 7–8 hour drive along the Trishuli River. Enjoy views of terraced hills, villages, and mountains. Spend the night in Syabrubesi.

Day 2: Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m) – 6 hrs

Start your trek through lush forests of oak, pine, and bamboo. Cross suspension bridges and follow the Langtang Khola river. Keep an eye out for red pandas and monkeys. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 3: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – 6 hrs

Climb steadily with glimpses of Langtang Lirung (7,234m). Pass Ghodatabela and yak pastures. Reach Langtang Village, a cultural hub of Tamang heritage. Spend the night in Langtang Village.

Day 4: Trek Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) – 4 hrs

Enjoy an easy trek to the spiritual heart of the valley. Explore the monastery and local cheese factory. Opt for a hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) for sunset views. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 5: Trek back to Syabrubesi & Return to Kathmandu

Trek downhill via Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (7–8 hrs). Drive back to Kathmandu (same day or next morning).
