Walk through the main historic streets before entering smaller lanes where traditional wooden architecture and discreet entrances preserve the character of old Kanazawa.

Learn about geiko culture, historic teahouses, local traditions, and the role these districts played in Kanazawa’s cultural life.

Then continue toward the Asano River.

Step out from the narrow teahouse streets into an open riverside landscape, where illuminated bridges, reflections on the water, and historic buildings create a peaceful nighttime scene.
