What you can expect

  • Cover the three essential Kagoshima experiences in one comfortable private shore excursion: the view of Sakurajima, Sengan-en Garden, and the Chiran Kamikaze Museum.

This 4.5-hour private tour is designed for cruise ship guests who want to experience Kagoshima properly without the stress, confusion, or physical strain of getting around on their own.
Kagoshima’s highlights are spread out, and access from the cruise port is especially inconvenient. For international visitors, trying to visit these places by public transportation can be difficult, time-consuming, and tiring. With our tour, your private vehicle picks you up directly where your cruise ship docks and brings you safely back to the ship after the tour.

At Sengan-en Garden, you will enjoy one of Kagoshima’s most iconic views: Sakurajima, the active volcano rising across Kagoshima Bay. The garden itself was the former residence of the powerful Shimadzu family and offers a beautiful combination of Japanese landscaping, history, and scenery.

You will also visit the Chiran Kamikaze Museum, dedicated to the young Japanese pilots who departed from Chiran during World War II on kamikaze suicide missions. This is not just another museum. It is one of the most emotionally powerful places in Japan, where the personal letters, photographs, and stories of the kamikaze pilots leave a deep and lasting impression on nearly every visitor.

These three experiences have been carefully selected by our company owner, who has traveled to 45 countries and extensively throughout Japan. For first-time visitors to Kagoshima, he confidently recommends this route as the most complete and meaningful way to understand the region in a limited time.
This tour is ideal for guests who value comfort, efficiency, and peace of mind. There is no need to walk long distances under the hot summer sun, wait for trains in the rain, or deal with separate entrance fee payments along the way.

All required costs are included in the tour price, so you can simply relax and enjoy your day.
Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle and cover Kagoshima’s essential sights in one smooth, stress-free experience.

We also offer tours at other ports. Please feel free to take a look if you are interested.
