You will set off from the La Crémaillère restaurant in Courseulles-sur-Mer, equipped with electric-assist or traditional bikes, to head to Arromanches-les-Bains and its famous artificial harbor, which played a major role in the Allied landings. You will follow seaside bike paths along Juno and Gold Beaches, enjoying magnificent panoramic views, then return to the starting point via small country roads that will allow you to discover the charm of the “real” Normandy, passing through places steeped in history, such as the famous British memorial at Ver-sur-Mer. This route offers a true immersion in the history of the D-Day landings, but it is also an invitation to escape into the quintessential landscapes of our beloved Normandy. At the start or end of your ride, we naturally recommend that you have lunch or dinner at our partner restaurant, La Crémaillère, where you can enjoy the delights of French and Norman cuisine in an idyllic setting overlooking the sea.
