Nosy Iranja, voted 4th in the prestigious international ranking of the World's 50 Best Beaches! An open-air treasure!
The ranking was compiled by more than 1,000 travel experts from around the world. The top of the ranking places Nosy Iranja just behind major destinations.

The island is made up of two islets, located on a plateau but very close to the drop-off of the Mozambique Channel. It is a prime habitat and migratory route for several species of dolphins and humpback whales. It is also a nesting site for green and hawksbill turtles. On our day trips to Iranja, you will almost certainly have the chance to swim with turtles in crystal-clear waters. At low tide, you can enjoy this incredible place, but be careful not to get caught out when the tide comes in! Turquoise water surrounds the lagoon, reflecting the sunlight and making the sea sparkle.
