Your itinerary
At the indicated time, we'll meet at The Host, Jangadero, 136, and at 8:30 pm from this point in Puerto Iguazú, we'll head to the Iryapú nature reserve, located in the surroundings of the Paranaense jungle.
Once we reach this natural space, which covers an area of about 600 hectares, we'll embark on an unforgettable night hiking route. On this tour, you'll learn about the customs and traditions of the native Mbya-Guaraní aborigines, who have inhabited this territory since time immemorial.
Along this low-difficulty hike, where you'll cover a total of 4 kilometers, you'll see huge trees like palo rosa, guatambu, and cedars. You'll also see strangling figs and a wide variety of palm trees, guembe ferns, orchids, and fruit trees.
During the walk, you'll also spot various kinds of animals such as coatis, weasels, cai monkeys, honey bears, colicortos, and snakes. If you look closely, you might also spot frogs, arachnids, and a wide variety of insects. To preserve their habitat, we'll collect waste from the area with a special bag.
Finally, we'll walk back to the starting point of the hike and from there, we'll head back to the meeting point in Puerto Iguazú, where we'll arrive two hours after the pick-up.
