Join us for a morning walk around Ybor City!
The Cuban sandwich and history tour gives you the Ybor City experience with neighborhood favorite flavors and history.
We meet in Centro Ybor at the statue of Vicente Martinez Ybor.
Grab an authentic cafe con leche at your first stop and sip it as you go for a 90 minute walking tour of the neighborhood. Visit historic landmarks, see all the beautiful architecture, and hear the stories of the immigrant cultures that built Ybor City. Landmarks include Jose Marti Park, Vicente Martinez original factory building, the majestic social clubs, and the old cigar workers' casitas among other historical gems.
Walk the brick streets of iconic 7th avenue as you meet our true neighborhood locals, the Ybor chickens and roosters!
There is lots of beautiful scenery throughout the tour and great spots for taking photos. The tour ends with a Cuban sandwich lunch at Florida's oldest restaurant, The Columbia (opened in 1905). The Columbia is the gem of Spanish restaurants and a must visit in Tampa Bay. After lunch we will walk back to the meeting spot. Tour takes approximately 2 hours
