Explore the underwater world of the western coast of Ibiza during the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience for beginners from 10 years old.
Receive instruction from our multilingual PADI diving instructors at a PADI dive centre that has taught more first-time divers than anywhere else in Spain.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program requires no previous diving experience, but you must be able to float in the sea for approximately 1 minute and not suffer from any medical prescription/condition. This experience is perfect for first-time divers.
One week or some days before the scuba diving experience starts, we will send you access to the online theory platform ( it takes about 25 minutes to complete it ) of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving. After the practical session on open waters, we will submit your certificate of completion to PADI to register you as having completed the PADI Discover Scuba Diving ( this program is not a scuba diving certification)
Upon arrival at our diving boat in San Antonio port, you must fill out the medical questionnaire to show that your health fits correctly for scuba diving ( read the items not suitable for).
You will be provided with your dive outfits and equipment, including a wetsuit, mask, fins, and a snorkel. The light gear is yours for the entire boat trip, so you can snorkel as much as you like from the boat if you are not scuba diving.
As we navigate to the amazing dive spot, located just 20 minutes from the port of San Antonio, you can relax with the stunning sea views. Then you will get an introduction to a colourful underwater world during a +30-minute (approximately) scuba diving guided tour by a PADI instructor, which includes a 15-minute theoretical refresh /class on board.
See what it feels like to be completely weightless as you put on your scuba tank and descend to a maximum depth of 26 feet (8 meters).
When one group is diving, you can snorkel and discover by yourself the underwater world of the Ibiza coast.
As you explore the beautiful house reef, look out for octopuses, swim with inquisitive fish, and delight in the huge variety of shapes, colours, and sizes of marine life. If you are lucky, once all the divers finish diving, we will be back at the port of San Antonio.
