I’m Nghi, a young Vietnamese raised in Huế, where I spent my entire childhood surrounded by the city’s quiet charm and deep cultural roots. Together with Phương - a local coffee shop owner who has a true passion for local culture - we created this experience to share something very unique with you.
We host this experience in a hidden, art-filled coffee shop that has been part of the local community since 2012. You’ll feel the strong connection between the space, the people, and the art here itself.
Instead of teaching popular coffees you can find anywhere in Vietnam, we focus only on what truly belongs here.
- Huế salted cream coffee - original from Hue with rich, balanced, and deeply loved by locals
- Peanut butter coffee - because the owner loves peanut butter, so peanut butter coffee was created as an unique mixture which exists only at this coffee shop
You’ll also get to explore the differences between beans, from Arabica and Robusta to a special Arabica grown in A Lưới, a mountainous area of Huế, as well as a unique house blend that you won’t find anywhere else.
Along the way, we’ll share stories - about Huế, about local life, and about how this small café became a part of lots of young Hue people. It’s not just about coffee, but about understanding the culture behind it.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a small piece of this experience -either a traditional Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) or postcards designed by the café owner, as a memory of your time in Huế.
Let’s take a deep dive into the culture with us!
