What you can expect
Your day begins between 8:00 and 8:20 AM, when the car and tour guide pick you up from your hotel in the center of Hue and transfer you to Toa Kham boat station. From there, you will embark on a relaxing cruise along the Perfume River, taking in the peaceful scenery as you make your way to Thien Mu Pagoda, an iconic and historic pagoda dating back to the early 17th century and considered a spiritual symbol of the former imperial capital.
After the boat trip, the vehicle will take you to Hue Imperial City, the grand royal complex that served as the political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty. Here, you will explore remarkable landmarks such as Ngo Mon Gate, the Forbidden Purple City, The Mieu Temple, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns, each reflecting the power and sophistication of imperial Vietnam. The journey continues with a visit to Dong Ba Market, the city’s largest traditional market, where you can wander through bustling stalls, shop for local specialties, and pick out meaningful souvenirs.
At midday, you will enjoy a lunch featuring authentic Hue cuisine, accompanied by herbal tea. Afterward, you will have the chance to unwind with a soothing herbal foot bath, offering a moment of relaxation before continuing your exploration.
In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Khai Dinh Tomb, an extraordinary royal tomb distinguished by its striking fusion of Asian and European architectural influences. You will then visit Minh Mang Tomb, known for its elegant layout and harmonious integration with the natural landscape, embodying traditional Eastern philosophy and design. The journey continues to the traditional incense-making village and conical hat village, where you can observe skilled artisans at work, learn about these time-honored crafts, and capture beautiful photos in one of Hue’s most picturesque cultural settings.
Between 4:00 and 4:30 PM, the car and tour guide will return you to your hotel, marking the end of a memorable day exploring the rich heritage, culture, and beauty of Hue. Payment Policy: The amount paid via the app is considered a deposit only. An additional 1,500,000 VND per person must be paid in cash on the begining of the tour.
