Meeting/Redemption Point
- If your ship is at the Adventure Dock, proceed ashore to the Adventure Center. Once inside the Adventure Center walk through the building and exit through door number 2. Follow the signs on the gravel path to the Excursion Hub. The total walking time is 6-8 minutes, please allow extra time if you are not a fast walker. We ask that you check in for your tour 15 minutes early as we leave on time. If your ship is docked at the Wilderness Dock this is a 25 minute walk, or you may ride the Transporter Gondola(3 minute ride) to the Adventure Center. If you walk, once you arrive at Adventure Center follow signs to Excursion Hub. If you take the gondola, once you step off of gondola you should see a sign for the Excursion Hub. Take a left and follow path to the Excursion Hub. We have partnered with Hoonah Travel Adventures for your round trip transport! They will be at the Excursion Hub and have a sign that says Hoonah Travel Adventures. Please check in with them when you arrive at the Hub!

What you can expect
Travel out with us to go find Humpback Whales, Sea Lions, Otter, Orca, Brown Bears and more on the inland waters of Icy Strait! Our capable Captain Josh will be your guide as he finds you all manner of amazing Alaskan wildlife for you to observe; with a 100% success rate at finding whales, you're in excellent hands. But that's not even the best part of this tour! Not just a captain, Captain Josh is also a certified Drone pilot, and on board we have an extremely powerful and large filmography drone that he will use during the tour while you're watching the whales to film them for you from above! This higher perspective is totally unique to this tour, and you'll be awestruck as you see the whole whale swimming, feeding and diving just below the surface with this feature! Not to distract from the wildlife in front of you, he'll show you what he filmed on board while we move from place to place, and at the end of the tour you'll receive a copy of the footage on a USB drive for you to take home!
A phenomenal area for whale watching, a skilled captain, a comfortable boat that seats a max of 14, and the only drone videos that you can get of your tour in Alaska!
