Spend time exploring the village, enter the Ninja Maze, and watch scheduled live entertainment such as ninja action and Japanese cultural performances. Take a break inside the village for lunch, with ramen, soba, udon, Hokkaido-style fried chicken, sweets, and other choices available.

After lunch, leave Edo Japan behind and enter Noboribetsu’s volcanic landscape.

Walk into Jigokudani, or Hell Valley, where steam rises from volcanic vents and hot water bubbles through mineral-colored earth. Follow the maintained boardwalk toward the steaming center of the crater and see the geothermal source behind Noboribetsu’s famous hot springs.

Finish with a short walk through Noboribetsu Onsen town, where demon statues, hot-spring steam, souvenir shops, and Sengen Park give the resort its distinctive “hell and oni” character.
