Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your accommodation within Hohhot's second ring road. On the first day, travel to the Huizhong Xile Grassland, one of Inner Mongolia's most beautiful flower-covered prairies. Spend two hours exploring the rolling hills and wind turbines. Upon arrival, experience a traditional Mongolian welcome ceremony with the offering of hada and the ceremonial drink of baijiu, a ritual dating back to Genghis Khan.
Continue to the Ulan Hada Volcano Geopark for a four-hour exploration. This area, featured by National Geographic, offers a surreal landscape of black lava fields and well-preserved volcanic cones. Visit the striking Number 6 Volcano with its pure black terrain, perfect for photography, and hike up the Number 5 Volcano for panoramic views.
On the second day, head to the Kubuqi Desert. Your package includes the 390 RMB desert ticket, which covers entry, desert surfing, camel riding, zip-lining, desert motorbikes, sand sliding, and a return train. After four hours of desert fun, visit Harsu Lake, a vast natural lake known as the 'Saibei West Lake'. Stroll along the reed-fringed shores and watch birds take flight over the water.
The tour includes transportation by car or minibus, 1-night accommodation near Ulan Hada Volcano area, one breakfast, and a driver-guide who also serves as your guide. Personal meals and optional expenses are not included. The tour ends with drop-off at your Hohhot accommodation or at Dazhao Temple.
