Herzegovina Wine & Heritage Experience – Private Sunset Winery Journey Small Group experience This is a relaxed small-group journey through Herzegovina that blends wine, landscapes, and local stories. We start in Mostar with a view from the Franciscan Church bell tower and an introduction to the region. We continue along the M17, passing southern countryside with stories of local life, stopping at the Žitomislić Monastery and its art gallery. Through stone vineyards, we reach Čitluk for a tasting of Žilavka, Blatina, and Trnjak, paired with local olive oil, cheese, and cured meats, meeting the winemaker and their family, learning abour their fascinating history. We then pass through the Međugorje area, learning about the cultural significance of this reknown catholic pilgramage site . At a second family winery overlooking the vineyards, we slow down for a sunset tasting of four wines, liqueurs, and local food served as a light dinner by the pool. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy, with time to sit, talk, and just enjoy the view as the day winds down. After that, we make our way back to Mostar.
