If you're into heritage, gardens, and architecture, the Creole huts tour is for you!

We'll wander through the village's alleys and paths to check out the Creole huts, some modest, some richly decorated. Hell-Bourg is the perfect spot to dive into the history of the old spa and the settlement of the Hauts de l'Île.

Fun and suitable for everyone, the walk will help you feel and understand current and past ways of life. The amazing views of the cirque will let us dive into local stories and legends, like the tales of the bandit Zitte or Héva & Anchaing.

You'll get why the Pitons, cirques, and ramparts are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll look back at the dark days of marronage and the tough survival of runaway slaves, juggling the search for supplies and the hunt for slave hunters. This terrible subject is still being studied by archaeologists and academics.
