The history of Maison Roger-Constant Lemaire dates back to the late 19th century in Hautvillers, the birthplace of champagne and the Lemaire family. Maison Roger-Constant Lemaire specializes in the production of rare and atypical champagnes without malolactic fermentation, without filtration, and without the use of fining. This family specialty makes it possible to offer champagnes with great freshness on the palate, marked by authenticity and minerality.
In addition, the preservation of champagne is greatly improved, and some of our champagnes thus become “vins de garde”, that is to say, wines that can be kept for several years. High Environmental Value (HVE) classification since 2018. For 5 generations, the family has been perpetuating the know-how of our ancestors in the Vallée de la Marne. Our terroir is located in the heart of Champagne, exclusively on the south bank in clay-limestone soil, which extends from Hautvillers 1er Cru to Cumières, and as far as Villers-sous-Châtillon.
