The experience
This is an intimate, small-group experience—unrushed, personal, and hands-on. With close guidance, you’ll craft 4–6 iconic Vietnamese coffees: Black, Brown, Egg, White (Silver), Coconut, and Salted Coffee.
Every cup is made by you.
You grind, brew, whisk, taste, adjust. Recipes are tailored to your palate—sweeter, bolder, stronger—while staying true to the soul of each coffee style. Along the way, you’ll learn practical techniques locals actually use at home: how to balance bitterness, control strength, and elevate flavor without fancy equipment.

Your hosts were born and raised in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Coffee has always been part of life—learned from grandparents, street cafés, professional kitchens, and years of tasting and experimenting.
We don’t just show you how to make coffee. We share why it tastes this way, and what each style reveals about Hanoi life. Stories flow naturally—about quiet mornings, legendary old cafés, changing tastes, and how Vietnamese coffee became what it is today.
The coffee & ingredients
We use carefully selected Vietnamese specialty coffee from the Central Highlands, sourced seasonally and tested through countless tastings across Vietnam. Coffee changes with the harvest—and only what’s truly good makes it into the cup.
All ingredients are prepared fresh each day, including eggs, milk, and coconut.
Nothing pre-made. Nothing artificial.
The space & atmosphere
This is a lived-in home, not a studio. You’ll use ceramic tools from local pottery villages, feel the texture of freshly ground coffee and silky foam, and taste bold, deeply Vietnamese flavors while everyday Hanoi life hums softly outside.
