Through this mindful practice, you will cultivate an appreciation for sustainability and the spirit of cherishing objects. The workshop is led by Tokusaburo Miyagawa, the shop owner who previously worked as a wooden-boat builder in the United States. His experience brings depth and authenticity to the process, allowing you to feel the aesthetic values and philosophy behind Japanese culture. This experience is safe and welcoming even for complete beginners. • Cultivate a mindset of caring for objects and embracing sustainability. • Learn to find new beauty and value in broken items, fostering a positive outlook toward change. • Develop focus and attention to detail through each step of the Kintsugi process. • Deepen your understanding of Japanese culture.
