This is no ordinary sightseeing tour of Oaxaca. It's a half-day immersion in the living Zapotec culture, led by locals who grew up among these mountains, agave plants, and traditions.

Your day begins with pickup directly from your accommodation. From there, we'll head up to Monte Albán, the ancient Zapotec capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend two hours exploring the ceremonial plazas, pyramids, and astronomical observatory, discovering stories and legends that you won't find anywhere else.

Next, we'll head down into the heart of Oaxaca's mezcal region to visit our very own Capotlán distillery, which is 100% self-sufficient and environmentally friendly. This is an interactive experience: You'll walk among the earthen ovens where the agave hearts are roasted, see the traditional stone mill in action without animal cruelty, and join our master mezcalero for a guided tasting of five award-winning artisanal mezcals. You'll learn to distinguish an Espadín from a Tobalá using your five senses.
