Description

Take time to explore the city's famous landmarks on this half-day tour. Pass by prominent colonial buildings before stopping at Merlion Park, Thian Hock Keng Temple, National Orchid Garden at Singapore Botanic Gardens and Little India.

Start your journey with a hotel pickup and relax as your guide takes you pass by the bustling streets of Civic District. Cruise by some of the well-known colonial architecture such as the Parliament House, the Supreme Court, and the City Hall.

Make your first stop at Merlion Park and get the chance to snap a picture with the iconic Merlion statue, a mythological creature of half-fish and half-lion. While here, soak in the scenic views of Marina Bay with popular landmarks such as Promenade, Gardens by the Bay, and Marina Bay Sands in the distance.

Afterward, continue your journey to Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s pioneer Buddhist-Taoist temples, before arriving at the colorful streets of Chinatown and perhaps you can browse for some souvenirs that you can bring home with you.

Then, make your way to the National Orchid Garden, located inside the Singapore’s Botanic Garden. Home to more than 60,000 orchid plants, the garden is designed to feature the plantation in all 4 seasons. From the garden, you travel to Little India, where you can smell the aroma of rich spices and see traditional delicacies on display.

Let your senses come alive at Little India as you walk past shops along the five-footway offering a variety of exotic fruits, spices, jasmine and orchid garlands.

Starting from 01 Oct 2018, watch a skillful demonstration of Teh Tarik – Pulled Tea at a “Sarabat Stall” and sample the tea after with your guide explaining the origins of this all-time local favourite beverage.

Definitely targeted more towards older people. I honestly found much cooler places around Singapore just on my own. The guide was great though awesome personality super funny. I was probably the only person under 50 ...and I’m 22

Our tour guide was very nice and kind. The tour was singapore in a nutshell. I wish we had more time at the Merlion park, chinatown and little india. In my opinion the visit to the botanical garden should be optional, so more time can be spent at the other places.
