This is a meticulously designed full-day tour that immerses you in the classic landscapes and cultural essence of Mount Fuji and Hakone in just one day. In the early morning, we will depart promptly from the designated meeting points at Tokyo Station or Shinjuku and travel by comfortable private vehicle toward the picturesque Hakone region
The first stop on the journey is the historic “Hakone Shrine”. Founded in 757, Hakone Shrine has long been a sacred site of mountain worship, revered by samurai leaders such as Minamoto no Yoritomo and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Regarded as the “Guardian Deity of the Kanto Region,” it is renowned for blessing visitors with traffic safety, fulfilled wishes, and romantic success, making it one of the most celebrated shrines for good fortune in the Kanto area
Next, we will stroll to the “Lakeside Torii Gate of Lake Ashi”. This iconic red torii gate standing in the lake is a must-visit spot for photography enthusiasts. The reflection of the gate and the silhouette of Mount Fuji on the tranquil water creates a scene that can only be described as breathtaking
This is followed by the delightful “Lake Ashi sightseeing cruise”. Boarding the retro-style “Hakone Pirate Ship” is a unique way to experience Hakone. The sightseeing boats connect the three ports of Hakone-machi, Motohakone, and Togendai. Departing from Motohakone Port offers a simultaneous view of the lakeside torii gate, Mount Fuji, and the serene lake. On clear days, the sky and water blend into a spectacularly beautiful panorama
The Hakone Ropeway will then take us to the famous “Owakudani”. As the heart of the Hakone volcanic zone, you will witness white sulfur steam rising from the ground, breathe in the faintly sulfur-scented air, and feel the vibrant energy of the earth beneath
In the afternoon, we will visit “Lake Yamanaka”, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. Here, you can interact with the graceful swans by the lakeside. These swans are accustomed to being fed by visitors and are remarkably friendly
The final stop is “Oshino Hakkai”, often referred to as the “Japanese Jiuzhaigou.” Formed by eight natural springs filtered through layers of volcanic rock from Mount Fuji's snowmelt, it is designated as a National Natural Monument. The crystal-clear spring water mirrors the majestic Mount Fuji, creating a picturesque scene that attracts photographers and nature lovers alike
In the evening, we will return to Tokyo by vehicle and disband at Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. The day’s itinerary is rich and well-paced, blending cultural tranquility with natural grandeur—from the serenity of the shrine and the majesty of the volcano to the joy of interacting with swans. With thoughtful scheduling and seamless transportation arrangements, we will guide you through the highlights of Fuji and Hakone in a single day, leaving you with complete and beautiful memories
