On this tour you get to experience the cultural viking village in Njardarheimr, cruise through UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden and one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, The Flåm Railway. The tour is guided until Viking Village, after the village you are self guided on the cruise and the train. You will get all the info you need.

Start time is 8.00 am until 30th of April 2026. From 1st of May until 30th of September 2026 the start time is 9.00 am. In October and the rest of the winter season 2026 the start time is 8.00 am. again. Please view the schedule in order to get the different cruise and train times for 2026.

The narrow and spectacular Nærøyfjord is surrounded by steep valley sides and snow-covered peaks that rise 1,800 meters above sea level, with thundering waterfalls and picturesque villages along the fjord. Regardless of the season, a cruise on the Nærøyfjord will be an unforgettable experience. Flåm is the most popular village around the Aurlandsfjord, and one of Norway’s most popular tourist destinations. The village has had a history of tourism dating back over 100 years, to when rich, British tourists would come to the fjords to fish salmon in the rivers here. Flåm is small, with around 400 inhabitants. The stop in Flåm varies because of the different cruise and train times during the year. In the winter time you only have 30 or 45 minutes of free time before the train leaves. In the summer you have 1-2 hours free time in flåm, because the train leaves at a later time.

The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal station. Over the course of one hour, the train takes you from sea level at the Sognefjord in Flåm to the Myrdal mountain station, situated at 867 meters above sea level. The Flåm Railway is one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world, with 80% of the journey running on a gradient of 5.5%. The train runs through spectacular scenery, alongside the Rallar Road, vertiginous mountainsides, foaming waterfalls and through 20 tunnels.
