The tour includes: a walk to the monumental square to admire the 13th-century Palazzo del Podestà; a visit to the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta (if not in use for services, in which case the building will be explained from the outside), which has an austere Romanesque layout but features precious medieval and Renaissance frescoes inside; and admission to the majestic Rocca Viscontea, a military fortress dating back to the mid-14th century, including access to the panoramic terrace at the top of the keep tower.
