After a short briefing at our office, we will begin the guided tour to enjoy one of the most evocative experiences in Watamu: an adventure through the Arabuko Forest, the green lung of Kenya, where nature is still pure, wild, and untouched, and the Ruins of Gede, one of the few archaeological sites in Kenya.
The route winds through sandy paths, quiet clearings, and stretches of savannah where, with a little luck, we can spot baboons, buffalo, elephants, and other animals that inhabit this reserve, a natural habitat for many exotic species.
The highlight of the hike is the lake hidden among the vegetation: here, during the quietest times of the day, you may see elephants approaching to drink, a unique and exciting encounter that remains etched in your soul.
After the tour, we will reach a scenic spot that is perfect for a sunset aperitif prepared for you, with wine, cold beers and soft drinks in a setting of absolute silence among the mangroves.
A simple and authentic moment, in which everything slows down and Kenya shows itself in its most sincere form.
An excursion that combines adventure, nature and history – designed for those who want to experience Watamu beyond the usual routes.
