Join me to discover two Alpine treasures of Slovenia: Bled and Bohinj.
We'll start at the iconic Lake Bled, where you'll have the chance to take a traditional pletna boat trip to the small island, visit the Baroque church, and ring the wish bell.
You can savor the delicious potica, a typical Slovenian pastry, while admiring Bled Castle, a medieval fortress perched on a cliff. I'll tell you the legend of the sunken bell and the story of the bishops of Brixen, as well as the visionary ideas of Dr. Rikli, a pioneer of health tourism.
We'll then head to Lake Bohinj, wilder and more serene, surrounded by the majestic Julian Alps, where the Church of St. John the Baptist is located. To round off the day, you can enjoy the local cuisine in a typical gostilna.
This sightseeing tour combines nature, history, culture, and authentic flavors in one unforgettable day. Ideal for those seeking beauty and a connection with the local scene!
