  • Hotel Rooms: Hotel rooms accommodate 2-4 guests, with varying bed types(e.g., King/Queen beds or two twin beds) and deposit rules. Deposits are usually processed via credit card.

What you can expect

Day 1
Salt Lake City–Jackson–Grand Teton National Park–Yellowstone National Park–West Yellowstone
Depart from Salt Lake City and head to Jackson, a classic western town. Visit Jackson Town Square with Elk Antler Arches (60 mins), where arches are made from naturally shed elk antlers. Continue to Grand Teton National Park (60 mins) to admire its snow-capped peaks and glacier lakes like Jackson and Jenny Lake. Then enter Yellowstone National Park (40 mins, stop at West Thumb Geyser Basin)—home to majestic mountains, geysers, and Yellowstone Lake. Overnight in West Yellowstone.

East Gate opens 05/02/2026. Before that, Upper/Lower Falls, Artist Point, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Fishing Bridge, and West Thumb Geyser are closed.

South Gate opens 05/10/2026; West Thumb Geyser not accessible 05/02–05/09.

Day 2
West Yellowstone–Yellowstone National Park–West Yellowstone
Spend the full day exploring Yellowstone—the world’s first national park with over 10,000 geothermal features and 200 waterfalls. Visit Norris Geyser Basin, home to Steamboat Geyser—the tallest active geyser on Earth; Canyon Village, Upper Falls, and Artist Point, where colorful canyon walls resemble a painter’s palette; Hayden Valley, famous for bison and bears; Mud Volcano, Fishing Bridge, Old Faithful Geyser, Fountain Paint Pot, and Morning Glory Pool. The route may adjust based on park conditions.

Day 3
West Yellowstone–Yellowstone National Park–Yellowstone Bear World–Great Salt Lake–Salt Lake City
Continue exploring Yellowstone’s highlights such as the Grand Prismatic Spring (Color Palette)—a rainbow-colored hot spring and a true natural wonder. Then visit Yellowstone Bear World (60 mins) in Rexburg, a drive-through wildlife park home to grizzly bears, black bears, and wolves. Conclude the journey at Great Salt Lake (20 mins), the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere, known for its high salinity and stunning reflections. Return to Salt Lake City in the evening.
