Get picked up point next to Banana Beach Club in Grand Bay. Then, take a transfer boat from the beach out to the dive platform which is moored over the dive site in the lagoon. Listen to a short briefing on the basic activity procedures and underwater communication methods.
Get equipped with a stainless steel helmet with flat, distortion-free viewing ports that will rest on your shoulders and is very lightweight underwater. Because the helmet receives free flow air at a greater pressure than the surrounding water, your head is kept dry at all times so if you wish you may wear your glasses or contact lenses during your undersea tour. Clients need to wear their swimming costumes for the submerged stroll inside the lagoon. Other equipment for your walk such as underwater shoes and wet suits are offered if required on board by the crew.
Then, be assisted to descend one step at a time down a ladder to stand and walk on the sandy sea bed. Walk 3 meters below the surface behind the platform where you will be greeted by some friendly fish. Safety divers and an underwater guide are present in the water all the times throughout the dive to accompany the clients during the 25 minute underwater experience.
After the walk is over, be assisted back up the ladder to the platform where shortly afterward, you will be taken back ashore. Once back at the reception kiosk, receive a complimentary dive certificate to take home. View and optionally purchase the HD footage of your experience saved to a DVD or a USB Stick. The total time required from start to finish is 1 hour 30 minutes per outing.
