What you can expect
Enjoy an unforgettable day discovering Gozo with Gozo Découverte. The day trip starts and ends at the harbor of Mgarr, the main entrance to the island, and takes place in small, friendly groups of a few people, with a maximum of ten participants, for a more authentic and personalized experience. Throughout the day, you will be accompanied by a local guide, a resident of Gozo of French origin, who will share his knowledge and stories with you.
The day begins with the impressive Sanap Cliffs, offering one of the most beautiful panoramas on the island. You will then continue to Xlendi Bay, a charming cove surrounded by cliffs, perfect for a relaxing break and some fantastic photo opportunities. You will then discover the Citadel of Victoria, a historic fortress offering a 360° panoramic view.
The route continues to the iconic natural site of Dwejra, with the Blue Hole, the Inland Sea and its unique rock formations. You will then visit the Basilica of Ta' Pinu, a peaceful and spiritual place surrounded by open landscapes. The exploration continues with Wied il-Għasri, a spectacular gorge leading to a hidden cove, and then the Xwejni Salt Pans, a testament to an ancient craft that is still practiced today.
You will also enjoy an exceptional view from the Tal-Mixta cave on Ramla Bay beach, before stopping at a traditional bakery to discover local artisanal bread. Finally, you will end this day full of discoveries with an impressive panorama of Comino and the Blue Lagoon, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters.
