Geysir

While the Great Geysir itself is now mostly dormant, its lively neighbor Strokkur erupts every 5–10 minutes, shooting boiling water up to 30 meters (98 feet) into the sky. Visitors can walk among bubbling mud pots, steaming vents, and colorful hot springs, experiencing the raw geothermal power that makes Iceland so unique.
