What you can expect

If you are traveling to Baku for a short period, then this is the best activity to join, as we will explore the most popular places in Baku within 8 hours.

Travel from the capital to Gobustan and the Absheron Peninsula, combining ancient history, unusual landscapes, and Azerbaijan’s famous connection with fire in one day.

Begin with a stop at Bibiheybat Mosque before continuing toward the Mud Volcanoes. Reach the volcano area by off-road vehicle and experience one of Azerbaijan’s most unusual natural landscapes.

Continue to the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its prehistoric rock carvings and evidence of human settlement dating back thousands of years.

After Gobustan, enjoy a lunch stop at a local restaurant. Lunch is paid separately unless you select the All-Inclusive option.

In the afternoon, visit Ateshgah Fire Temple, an important historical site connected with fire worship and the region’s ancient religious traditions. Then continue to Yanardag (Burning Mountain), where natural gas has kept flames burning continuously on the hillside.

Finish the sightseeing with a photo stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center, one of Baku’s most recognizable modern architectural landmarks.
