Glengoyne is Scotland's most beautiful distillery, located just 14 miles from Glasgow where it has been producing world-famous Highland Single Malt Whisky since 1833.
You'll experience an award-winning guided tour of a traditional, working Highland whisky distillery, followed by whisky-making experience which takes place in the Sample Room of the Distillery Manager's House.
Displayed before you will be a selection of cask strength whiskies hand-selected from the Glengoyne Distillery warehouse. You’ll see the difference in colour immediately; between the American oak and European, and between the previous fill of sherry or bourbon. A taste of each, and you assume the role of the Malt Master straight away; adding a little from a bourbon cask here, bringing out a touch more sherry wood there.
You'll learn how to expertly blend these single cask whiskies to create your own unique cask strength, un-chillfiltered Glengoyne Highland Single Malt. It’s a one-off creation, presented to you in a 200ml Glengoyne bottle, wax sealed and labelled with a record of your recipe.
This experience is only suitable for adults aged 18-years and over. Under 18s will not be admitted. Children and infants are not permitted entry on this experience.
