What you can expect
First of all, on the trip to Granada you will learn about our cultures, lakes and volcanoes of Nicaragua with our Tour Guide who will make your trip unique. The first stop in Granada will be the Chocolate Museum where you will have an informative tour about the history of chocolate cocoa and taste its best products, among the most popular is chocolate rum, after that we will walk in the central square of Granada where we will see and enter the ancient and Majestic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption and learn all about its history, then we will walk towards the Granada Handicraft Market where we can take a look or if you want to buy souvenirs, we will walk to the historic La Merced Church that was damaged by the American Pirates
On the walk you will learn everything about Granada and its Colonial History
In the Vehicle we will go to the Malecon of Granada or Lake Granada and we will meet our Boat Captain who will take us to see the Islets of Granada, the history of each islet, the Magnificent Monkey Island and the Majestic View of the Volcano Mombacho
Then we will go to the port where the boat that goes to the Island of Ometepe departs and we will see the old train tracks and its renowned restaurant for its popular and delicious fish “El Guapote”.
Then we will take the road to Masaya until we enter the heart where the oldest and largest Handicraft Market of Nicaragua is located, where we can learn about its culture, festivals and take a look at the beautiful masterpieces created by Nicaraguan hands.
