On this full-day tour of the Valle Alto, you'll enjoy a comprehensive cultural experience as you explore some of the most traditional villages in Cochabamba. The day begins with pick-up from your hotel, the airport, or the bus terminal, and we'll head to the La Angostura Dam, where you can enjoy the scenery and take optional boat rides. You'll then visit Tarata, known for its colonial architecture, where you'll stroll through the Main Square “Aroma,” learn about its history, take photos, and go up to the La Torre vantage point for panoramic views. You will then visit the Melgarejo Bridge and the traditional Tarateño Gate, where you will have lunch.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to Huayculi, where you'll take part in pottery making, connecting with the region's craft traditions. Next, you'll visit Punata, strolling through its main square and the Chicha Museum, where you'll learn about the history and production process of this traditional beverage. You'll visit Punata, another town where you'll learn about the making of Cochabamba's traditional and unique rosquete (doughnut).
