What you can expect

  • Departure from the hotels. The administrative capital of Cap Bon and the heir to Neapolis, Nabeul is the capital of ceramics in Tunisia. Visit to a pottery workshop and free time at the weekly market with its richly colored displays of spices, vegetables, and clothing. Departure to Kelibia via Korba and Menzel Temime. Arrival in Kélibia, coffee break, and panoramic view of the fort and the fishing harbor. Kelibia rests on the ruins of the Roman Clupea, of which some foundations and houses paved with mosaics are still visible at the foot of the hill crowned by the fort. Visit to Kerkouene, the best-preserved Punic site in Northern Africa. The partial excavations allow us to see a harmonious organization of the monuments: protective ramparts of the city, dwellings with bathtubs, rooms decorated with fragments of mosaics, cobbled streets, public squares and places of worship. Lunch in El Haouaria. Continue to the north coast of El Haouaria. Panoramic view of the islands “Zembra and Zembretta” as well as the caves (stone quarries located by the sea and used for the construction of several Roman cities, including Carthage).

Continue to Korbous. Panoramic view of the Gulf of Tunis. Korbous is a charming seaside village perched on a hill in the Cap Bon region, known since antiquity as a high-quality spa resort. Its hot springs are beneficial for rejuvenation. There are seven natural springs in the middle of the forests and mountains, facing the sea; they are the most famous in Tunisia. Stop at the “Ain El Atrouss” spring, which gushes out from the rocks and flows into the Mediterranean. Continue to Hammamet through the green fields of citrus trees, vineyards, and a wide variety of other fruit trees.
