The house of Hohenzollern was once one of he most powerful family dynasties on German soil with a nearly 1000 years old tradition. Her most famous son was Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. Enjoy a fantastic view from 850 meters height of the fortifications of the castle on the entire surrounding area. You will have enough time to walk around the ramparts, the towers and the courtyard of this impressive mountain castle.

The highlight of the day: an interior visit of the magnificent halls and living rooms, decorated with paintings, precious porcelain, gold and silver wrought ironwork and historical vestments.

In winter time Castle Hohenzollern offers an event which is called “Royal Winter Magic”. During this time the castle is decorated with many Christmas ornaments. Visitors will be carried away into the Christmas world of royalty and majesties.
