What you can expect

  • SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN SPANISH.
    On this full-day excursion, we'll depart at 8:30 a.m. from Pamplona, heading to the Navarrese Pyrenees and the Irati Forest.
    As we enjoy the change in the landscape from farmland to forest, we'll gradually enter the mountains in the second-largest beech and fir forest in Europe.
    We'll take an easy walk that's suitable for everyone (it's not a hike). This walk will let us enjoy, learn about, and appreciate the value of this fantastic place.

    We'll then head to Ochagavía. Considered one of the most beautiful villages in Navarre, it is located at the foot of the mountains, and that's where we'll stop for lunch (not included).
    We'll also take a stroll through the village and enjoy some free time before continuing our excursion.

    We'll stop at the Foz de Arbayun viewpoint before continuing on to the Foz de Lumbier. At both gorges, we'll try to admire the flight of birds such as vultures and Egyptian vultures. In Arbayun, they'll be below us, and in Lumbier… above us. In Lumbier, we'll walk about 3 kilometers in total along the old Irati railway line to enter the Foz de Lumbier Nature Reserve.

    We'll be back in Pamplona around 7:00 p.m.
