The castle was destroyed in 1866 but reconstructed in 1959. Its keep is notable for its distinctive Chinese-style gables. Nearby Highlights(optional activities,self-paid) Yasaka Shrine – Located within the castle grounds, dedicated to Susanoo-no-Mikoto. Popular for prayers of safety, prosperity, and matchmaking.
