OPTION 1 : 3-Day Selous All-Inclusive Safari trip
Day 1
You will be picked up early in the morning at the hotel you are staying for a transfer to the airport. From here you will catch your flight from Zanzibar to Selous.
Once you have arrived, your shared safari game drive will start in the largest Game Reserve on the African Continent, with a mid-morning coffee/tea break. Explore the wildlife. Our driver guides have a lot of experience with the area and the wildlife and love to tell you everything about it. Experience an authentic safari bush lunch in the Park! During break-time, a warm lunch will be served at set tables in the bush. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive. After enjoying a full-day game drive you will head towards our Africa Safari Selous accommodation. After check-in, you will be shown your Banda Bungalow and go to the restaurant to enjoy your dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast, your second full-day game drive will start. Visit the Beho Beho area, attracting incredible birdlife as well as hippos and crocodiles. Also visit the Hot Springs. You will get the chance to swim here!
Experience an authentic safari bush lunch in the middle of the National Park! During break-time, a warm lunch will be served at set tables in the bush. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive.
After enjoying a full day game drive you will head back towards our Africa Safari Selous. Enjoy another evening and night of relaxation while sleeping in the Tanzanian Bush.
Day 3
After breakfast, you will be brought to the airstrip of Nyerere National Park, where your flight back to Zanzibar will depart. From here our driver will await you to bring you back to your hotel.
Kindly note that Hot Springs game drive is made when possible, not reachable at rainy season.
OPTION 2 : 3-Day Boat Safari, Night Game Drive & 1 Full-Day Game Drive
Day 1 Arrival & River Safari
Fly in the afternoon from Zanzibar to Selous. Upon arrival, you will embark on a captivating boat safari adventure. Witness the rich wildlife along the banks as the sun sets, followed by an exclusive dinner in the heart of the bush. Conclude your day with a night game drive in the Selous Game Reserve. Stay overnight at Africa Safari Nyerere, a luxurious lodge bordering the National Park.
Day 2 Full-Day Game Drive & Overnight Stay
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Selous Game Reserve, exploring its diverse landscapes and encountering a variety of wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. Return to Africa Safari Nyerere for another night, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility.
Day 3 Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, carrying cherished memories of your Selous wilderness adventure.
The driver will be awaiting for you at your arrival at the Zanzibar airport, He will drop you off at your hotel after a multi-day trip full of unforgettable memories!
