What you can expect
Day 1: Windhoek – Namib Desert
Meet your guide in Windhoek and travel through the scenic Khomas Highlands towards the Namib Desert. Enjoy spectacular landscapes of mountains, open plains, and desert scenery while learning about Namibia's history, wildlife, and cultures. Arrive at Hammerstein Lodge in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful desert sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Sossusvlei, Deadvlei & Sesriem Canyon
Depart early for Namib-Naukluft National Park. Visit the world-famous Sossusvlei dunes, some of the highest sand dunes on Earth, before exploring the iconic Deadvlei with its ancient camel thorn trees and dramatic desert scenery.
Travel through the stunning Namib Desert via Solitaire and the Namib-Naukluft region towards the Atlantic coast. Arrive in Swakopmund, a charming seaside town known for its German colonial architecture and relaxed atmosphere. Check in at the historic Hansa Hotel and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the town.
Day 3: Swakopmund Leisure Day (Optional Sandwich Harbour)
Enjoy a free day in Swakopmund. Guests may explore the town, beaches, cafés, and shops or join optional activities. The highlight is the optional Sandwich Harbour 4x4 excursion, where giant dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean in one of Southern Africa's most spectacular landscapes. Other optional activities include catamaran cruises, kayaking, quad biking, sandboarding, and scenic flights.
Day 4: Swakopmund – Etosha National Park
After breakfast, travel north to Etosha National Park, one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. Arrive at Okaukuejo Resort and enjoy an afternoon safari game drive in search of elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and antelope. In the evening, visit the famous floodlit waterhole, renowned for exceptional wildlife sightings.
Day 5: Full-Day Etosha Safari
Spend the day exploring Etosha National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit various waterholes and wildlife-rich areas while searching for Namibia's incredible wildlife. Learn about the park's ecology and conservation efforts while enjoying excellent photographic opportunities. Return to Okaukuejo Resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Etosha – Windhoek
After breakfast, depart Etosha and travel back to Windhoek through Namibia's scenic central regions. Enjoy comfort stops and photo opportunities along the route. Arrival in Windhoek is scheduled for the afternoon, with transfer to the airport or onward arrangements.
