More than just a tour, our Mt. Fuji expedition is engineered to eliminate the common stresses and uncertainties of the climb. We provide complete peace of mind, allowing you to focus purely on the adventure. We handle the complexities; you make the memories.
What makes our tour a uniquely secure and seamless experience? First, we guarantee your access. This tour is fully compliant with all new 2025 climbing regulations and fees, so you face no last-minute surprises or risk of being turned away at the entrance.
Second, travel light—every climber receives a FREE helmet and rainwear, saving you the hassle of packing bulky gear. We warmly welcome young adventurers (ages 6+) with complete, correctly-sized children's gear sets to ensure the whole family can climb in safety and comfort.
Finally, your peace of mind is paramount. Unlike many other tours, we include comprehensive travel insurance specifically for international visitors. From start to finish, you are in the care of both a certified mountain guide and an English-speaking tour conductor, ensuring a level of support that is second to none.
Your 2-Day Adventure Itinerary:
Day 1: Ascent to the 8th Station Your journey begins with a comfortable, round-trip bus ride from the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo. After a stop for those using our optional full gear rental plan (boots, rucksack, etc.), we'll arrive at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station (Yoshida Route). Around noon, your expert guide will lead the ascent. Every step offers panoramic vistas of the world below, making the journey as memorable as the destination. After a rewarding climb, we'll arrive at our accommodation for the night: the historic Tomoekan Mountain Hut at the 8th station.
Day 2: Summit, Sunrise, and Descent We depart before dawn, climbing through the quiet morning darkness to witness the legendary sunrise, known as goraiko, from near the 9th station. After reaching the summit crater and taking in the incredible views from the top of Japan, we will begin our descent. We'll stop back at the mountain hut for a well-earned breakfast before continuing down to the 5th station, aiming to return to Shinjuku in the late afternoon, filled with an unparalleled sense of accomplishment.
Meals on the Mountain & Important Dietary Information: To keep you energized, a hot dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2 at the mountain hut are included. The standard dinner is a classic Japanese hamburger curry.
For vegetarian requests, the meal will be served without the hamburger patty (curry and rice only). Please be aware that the curry sauce is prepared in a shared kitchen and may contain meat-based broth, so it may not be suitable for strict vegetarians. We cannot accommodate vegan or halal requests. If you have strict dietary requirements, we strongly recommend bringing your own supplementary food.
