Yusmarg is located in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is an alpine valley covered with snow-clad mountains and the meadows of Pine and Fir. The name Yusmarg translates to The Meadow of Jesus. Although there is no historical or archaeological record, it is said to have been visited by Jesus.

Explore the long stretches of green pastures, dense pine forests, snow-capped peaks like Tattakutti and Sunset Peak, the Doodh Ganga River, and the small lake of Nilnag surrounded by hills. Visit the holy shrine of Charar-e-Sharief, which is dedicated to the saint Sheikh Noor-ud-din.

Yusmarg is also a good place for trekking and skiing. Follow trails to places like Sang-e-Safed Valley and Nilnag. Enjoy skiing on the natural slopes of Yusmarg in the winter.
