Let’s explore the most beautiful river in the Dominican Republic, a blue river located in Salcedo in the heart of a mountain.

The adventure begins at 6:00 AM at the meeting point where we start driving to the Breakfast Stop (7:30AM) after breakfast we continue driving until we reach the start of the adventure.

This is where the hike begins. The estimated time is 3–4 hours, mostly spent swimming and having fun in the natural pools and waterfalls while enjoying the bluest, freshest water. Don’t know how to swim? It doesn’t matter; life jackets are included.

The difficulty level of the route is medium-high. It is recommended that you be in good physical condition and healthy. A certain level of resistance is required, it has many ups and downs.

At the end of the route, we return to a local home to taste the flavors of local cuisine: a delicious traditional meal made by local cooks. Menu: the Dominican Flag, with rice, red beans, and stewed chicken, which can be slightly modified for vegans.

Finally, we begin the return journey at 4:00 PM and arrive in Santo Domingo between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. An experience you will never forget. I’ll be capturing every moment for you.
