What you can expect

Set off from San Nicolò d'Arcidano for an exciting off-road trip between Mount Gentilis and the Costa Verde in southwest Sardinia.
This wonderful area, once thriving for its mining activity, is characterized by Mediterranean scrub, a crystal clear sea, spectacular landscapes and historical evidence that will take you back in time. Your day will begin among the peaks of Mount Gentilis in Guspini where you will enjoy breathtaking views from Sinis to Iglesiente. You will then descend to the coast where, after a tasty lunch of Sardinian products, you will admire the impressive dunes of the renowned Piscinas Beach. Your experience will continue with a dip into the past in the ancient mining area of Ingurtosu and the historic village of Montevecchio, often frequented by beautiful wild deer.
There are all the ingredients for a real adventure in one of the wildest areas of Sardinia!

The itinerary loops for 70 km on dirt road and includes the following stops:
Mount Gentilis with scenic stop
Lunch stop in the Portu Maga area
Piscinas beach
Former mining area of Ingurtosu
Village of Montevecchio

During the seafront lunch break, you will be offered a sandwich or focaccia with filling, water and coffee.
