What you can expect

Depart Puno and travel to the floating islands of the Uros village on Titicaca Lake. Discover how locals create these islands using bundles of dried cattails. Learn the history of the area and interact with locals to hear more about their life on the water.

Then, sail to Taquile Island in the largest part of Lake Titicaca. Experience lake life up close and get stunning views of the Andes Mountains as a bonus. Hear about the inhabitants of Taquile Island and how they descended from the Inca people to work primarily as farmers and weavers, and how they have inherited some distinct Inca traditions.

Take a medium-level hike on the island, known for its hand-woven art and collective farms, and enjoy a locally sourced lunch served at a local restaurant. Then, return to the city of Puno on the shores of the lake to finish the tourist services.
