By the 18th century, Bohemia had ascended to become the world's leading glass exporter.

Our first stop is at the Novotný Glass Studio, nestled in the glassmaking town of Nový Bor, merely an hour of Prague. Operated by the globally acclaimed glass master Petr Novotný, this family-owned studio specializes in crafting exquisite replicas of historical glass primarily for the American market.

The Novotný Glass Museum is our next destination, showcasing a riveting collection of contemporary glass art, largely comprising the private collection of renowned glass masters. The museum is also home to numerous prestigious trophies and awards.
