Your driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ninh Binh at 8:00AM Or Hanoi Old Quarter between 7:00 and 7:30 AM. From Hanoi, enjoy a comfortable 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh, passing peaceful countryside landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival, begin your experience with a scenic boat ride on the Tam Coc River. Drift gently along winding waterways surrounded by limestone karsts and rice fields, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.”
After the boat ride, you will stop at a local restaurant (set menu lunch, available for vegeterian) to enjoy lunch before starting the afternoon activities.
In the afternoon, your guide will prepare electric bicycles, with one e-bike per person, making it easy and comfortable to explore the countryside. Ride through quiet village paths, lush rice paddies, and alongside small rivers, experiencing the slow rhythm of rural life.
Your e-bike journey continues to Bich Dong Pagoda, a beautiful ancient pagoda built into the limestone mountains. Dating back to the 15th century, Bich Dong is known for its peaceful atmosphere, traditional architecture, and its harmonious blend of nature and Buddhism. You may explore the lower areas or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Next, cycle to Mua Cave. Here, you can climb nearly 500 stone steps to the famous Ngoa Long viewpoint, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Tam Coc valley, rice fields, and winding river below.
After returning the e-bikes, relax as you travel back to Hanoi, arriving in the early evening.
